Step-by-Step Reset Procedures

  1. Power Cycle Reset: Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet for 5-10 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control board.
  2. Control Panel Reset: Press and hold the "Power Freeze" and "Power Cool" buttons simultaneously for 8-10 seconds until the display resets.
  3. Factory Reset: Press and hold the "Refrigerator" and "Freezer" temperature buttons for 8 seconds to restore factory settings.
  4. Ice Maker Reset: Locate the reset button on the ice maker (usually a small red button) and press it for 3 seconds.
  5. Temperature Reset: Press the "Energy Save" button for 3 seconds to reset temperature settings to default.
  6. Hard Reset: Unplug the unit, wait 30 minutes, then hold the power button for 15 seconds while unplugged before reconnecting.
  7. Test Operation: After reset, monitor the refrigerator for 24 hours to ensure proper cooling and operation.
Warning: Always wait at least 5 minutes after unplugging before reconnecting power to prevent compressor damage. Reset procedures may vary by model.
