Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location away from heat sources with proper ventilation and level flooring.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the refrigerator.
  3. Level the Refrigerator: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is perfectly level from front to back and side to side.
  4. Clearance Space: Ensure adequate clearance (minimum 2 inches) on all sides for proper air circulation.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15A grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  6. Initial Setup: Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before plugging in to stabilize refrigerant.
  7. Temperature Settings: Set refrigerator to recommended temperature (37°F) and freezer to 0°F.
  8. Test Operation: Monitor for 24 hours to ensure proper cooling and temperature maintenance.

Manual Defrost Procedure

  1. Preparation: Remove all food from freezer and place in cooler with ice packs
  2. Turn Off: Unplug refrigerator from electrical outlet
  3. Contain Water: Place towels and shallow pans to catch melting ice
  4. Natural Melting: Allow ice to melt naturally (do not use sharp objects)
  5. Cleaning: Once melted, clean interior with mild detergent and warm water
